On the eve of 16 August 2025, PAGASA Director Robert L Go was honored by his alma mater, the University of the Philippines, by being awarded as one of its most Outstanding Alumni for the Year 2025. Awarding was done at the Bahay Alumni inside U.P. Campus. He was awarded on the basis of practicing retail trade on a wide scale serving the countryside bringing about inclusive growth in these far-flung areas. PAGASA's STC was invited as a special guest that evening by the family of Robert.

The 25th year Silver Edition of WOFEX was held at the SMX Pasay and the World Trade Center from 6-9 August 2025. One might wonder if WOFEX is doing better this year now that it is run by Informa Markets> UK-based world's biggest event organizer? PAGASA officers like Alfie and Heidi Gatmaytan of KikoMart as well as STC and others found this out for themselves.

A delegation from PAGASA attended NRCE 2025 held at SMX Pasay from 31 July to 1 August. Members of PAGASA who attended included Kim Reyes/B-right Supermarket, Rhea Go Lao/Prince Retail Group of Co.'s, Lindsay & Christien Tan, et. al./LCC Group of the Bicol Region and former member Jun Tan/Citistores.

Originally set on 23 July 2025 but moved to 25 July and finally carried out on 29 July was PAGASA's 3/Q GenMeet due to inclement weather. It was held at Kuroda Ramen housed inside the DoubleDragon Plaza located at the DD Meridien Park along EDSA near Roxas Blvd. Store Exposè was MerryMart's store #1. Agenda included the drop in revenues and income of some of the prime food retailers for 2/Q as well as the expansion plans of others diversifying into prime residential development, hospitality business, sports amenities & affiliated industries.

Exec. Dir. Steven Cua attended the 2Q GMM of the PRA in behalf of PAGASA at Westin Manila on 25 June 2025. Main Speaker was Deputy Privacy Commissioner Jose Amelito S. Belarmino II of the National Privacy Commission explaining why the National Privacy Act passed into law in 2016 is important.

Following the start of the Israel-Iran conflict on 13 June 2025, a barrage of media interviews ensued as fuel prices escalated by as much as 10% in one jump! All major tv, radio and online programs interviewed PAGASA Executive 8Director Steven T. Cua to reassure consumers that prices of BNPCs would not automatically spike as a consequence of perceived supply disruption especially of oil from Iran.
